Flexsys has developed a range of specialty chemical applications
that bring different functionalities to several chemical markets.
These applications range from Anti-Oxidants, Stabilisers, Inhibitors,
Short-stoppers, Metal-Sequestering, Corrosion Prevention, Selective
Flotation and Biocides, to products used as Chemical Intermediates.
Today Anti-Oxidants are being used successfully in fuel and lubricant
stabilization as well as monomer, and polymer stabilization/inhibition.
Anti – Corrosion agents have an application in lubricants,
industrial water cooling towers, water treatment plants and amongst
others anti-freeze mixtures.
Metal-sequestering agents help to effectively eliminate heavy
metals in several water streams in order to recuperate the metal,
or to meet the very demanding waste water treatment requirements.
Our Flotation Chemicals provide a more selective and effective
recuperation of specific metals from ores in the mining sector.
Our products with Biocidal activity are used where water and
temperature plays a role such as in sugar and paper mills, tanneries
and other areas where fouling is an issue.
The Chemical Intermediates play an important part as building
blocks for specific API’s in pharma and agriculture markets.
