ANTIREVERSION AGENTS:<br><br> PERKALINK 900<br> Stops the loss of compound physical properties that result from reversion of sulfur crosslinks, providing excellent hysteresis with dynamic stability. Perkalink 900 functions by inserting new, heat stable crosslinks at the site of the reverted sulfur crosslink. This new crosslink is formed whether the reversion is caused by overcure, high temperature service or high temperature curing.<br><br><br> 4. LATEX STABILIZERS:<br><br> VULCASTAB<br> Vulcastab LW is recommended for stabilization of latices against fillers, acids and cationic coagulants.<br><br><br> 5. POST-VULCANIZATION STABILIZERS:<br><br> DURALINK<br> Increases the retention of physical and dynamic properties on overcure, high temperature cure and during service by providing a hybrid crosslink which combines excellent thermal stability with dynamic flexibility. Used in conjunction with conventional or Semi-E.V. sulfur-based curing systems in NR, IR, SBR and blends. May be used as a bonding promoter for rubber/brassed steel adhesion.<br><br><br> 6. PRE-VULCANIZATION INHIBITORS:<br><br> SANTOGARD<br> Provides predictable scorch control in most sulfur vulcanizations; improved cost performance through marginal stock recovery, single-stage mixing, higher processing and/or curing temperatures; activity is linear and higher than most retarders; may cause bloom above 0.5 phr.<br><br><br> 7. REINFORCING AGENTS:<br><br> SANTOWEB<br> Santoweb D for use in NR, SBR, BR and CR for enhanced rubber to fibre adhesion when compound contains Resimene HMMM or similar bonding agent also; contains methylene acceptors. Santoweb H for use in EPDM and IIR elastomers for enhanced rubber to fibre adhesion when compound contains Resimene HMMM or similar bonding agent. By being insoluble in elastomers, Crystex retards bin scorch, prevents migration of sulfur and preserves surface tack. This is important in the manufacture of tyres and other plied-up rubber goods. The regular grades are indicated Crystex OT. Crystex HS OT grades have high thermal stability providing optimum resistance to conversion to rhombic sulfur at rubber processing temperatures. Crystex HD OT 20 is designed for improved flowability and dispersibility.
